TRAIL & PUMP TRACK BUILDERS & SITE SUPERVISOR

We are hiring Trail and Pump Track Builders and an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team to deliver awesome projects throughout Australia.

 

Common Ground Trails is reshaping the world utilising bikes and trails to create the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts and stewards. We work across planning, design and construction of trails and bike facilities in both urban and natural spaces. Our work is currently focused on mountain bike and walk trails, pump track and urban bike park construction.  

Our team dream, plan, design and build incredible trails and bike facilities and our business is growing rapidly. We have multiple roles available, and we need great people to join us on the adventure (both short and long term). You’ll be directly involved in bringing projects to life across specific or multiple locations throughout the country. You’ll work smart, safe and connected as part of a team, building trails, pump tracks and urban bike facilities that you’re proud to show off and psyched to ride

SITE SUPERVISOR

Are you a good communicator and the boss at leading a team?

Locations: Position available on the East Coast of Australia.

Type: Fulltime Permanent/Fixed Term Contract

Experience: 3+ years’ site supervision experience on civil construction sites. Experienced machine operator with nationally accredited tickets. Strong understanding and/or passion for mountain biking, trail and pump track construction highly desirable.

Our team is seeking an experienced and successful Site Supervisor that loves trails, riding bikes, or the outdoors. Reporting to the Project Manager / Operations Manager, you will use your experience to lead and manage small teams to drive efficient delivery of a range of trail and pump track projects. Working on construction projects Australia wide, you will be renowned for great communication, team building skills and open and friendly personality.  You'll use your industry experience to successfully manage a team, subcontractors and liaison with clients to deliver projects, all while being able to have fun in a great team environment.

MACHINE OPERATOR

Can you throw down in the excavator and on the trails?

Locations: Positions available in Qld, WA and Vic  (Various city and regional site locations)

Type: Fixed Term Contract/Casual

Experience: 2+ years’ experience as an Operator (specifically in earthworks) in landscaping, civil, construction or trail building. Multiple nationally accredited tickets. Experienced MTB/BMX trail/pump track user. 

In this role you’ll operate machinery as part of a team to build fun and challenging pump tracks and trails. You know how important levels, shapes, and lines are when it comes to building and riding trails and a pump track, creating flow trail, or bombing a jump line. Your operator skills are top notch; you’re safe, you’re quick, you can follow plans and you are great in a team. You get bonus points if you have experience with asphalt works or a HR truck licence.

LABOURER

Can you slap shapes as well as you slap turns?

Locations: Positions available in Qld, Vic & WA  (Various city and regional site locations)

Type: Fixed Term Contract/Casual

Experience: Construction site awareness, physically fit, labourer/trade background preferred. Experienced MTB/BMX trail/pump track user.

You’re physically fit, strong, ride bikes and you’re happy to work outdoors and away from home. You’ll be a part of team that follows safety procedures, takes direction well and gets the job done. You’ve worked with your hands before in landscaping, farming, construction or a trade and you’re ready to build the kind of tracks and trails that you love to ride.
