DESIGN MANAGER
Can you design dirt well as you ride it?
​The Position:
As Design Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our design projects, from initial concept to final completion. You will provide leadership, mentor team members, build strong client relationships, and ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. You will also take on a large portion of design work.
Responsibilities:

Leadership and management of the Design function, continuously improving processes, monitoring and managing budgets, and identifying and developing new business opportunities;

Overseeing the Design Team, including project allocation, quality control, training, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews;
-
Serving as the primary client liaison for all design projects, fostering strong, long-term relationships;
-
Conducting and bringing creative ideas and insights to design meetings and project development;
-
Managing the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects;
-
Developing conceptual and detailed designs along with construction documentation;
-
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and software advancements.

Requirements:

We’re looking for someone with a mix of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional mountain bike trails, bike parks, and pump tracks.

A Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field;
-
5+ years of experience in landscape architecture, preferably in mountain bike trails, bike parks, pump tracks, skate parks, or related fields;
-
3-5 years in a management or project management role;
-
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team;
-
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
-
Advanced proficiency in Vectorworks (or similar CAD software) and 3D modelling/rendering tools like Twinmotion;
-
Competence in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word);
-
A strong understanding of and passion for mountain biking or BMX.
Our preference is that the Design Manager is based in our Margaret River office. We may consider a hybrid arrangement for the right candidate. This position requires travel to project sites as necessary.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/GRADUATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

This position will work in our Urban Design team to design Australia's best mountain bike pump track and bike park projects.
​
Responsibilities:

Managing and delivering conceptual design and documentation, including concept plans and design reports;

Managing and delivering construction-level documentation, including plan drawings, detail drawings, and written specifications in line with assigned project deliverables;
-
Managing the day-to-day delivery of assigned projects to project completion;
-
Ensuring allocated projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with specified standards;
-
Controlling project budgets including monitoring income and expenditure in relation to assigned projects and providing contract administration and project reporting;
-
Facilitating client interactions and consultations for assigned projects. Preparing and presenting associated briefing reports to management as needed;
-
Engaging with the community in a range of forums and scenarios;
-
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, software advancements, etc..

Requirements:

SITE SUPERVISOR
Are you a boss on and off the track?
The Position:​

We have a position for a Construction Supervisor in Western Australia.
This Construction Supervisor will lead pump track construction builds and teams.
​
The Construction Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for overseeing daily operations on their pump track construction sites. This includes scheduling work, directing and supervising employees, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards and requirements, and achieving construction objectives. The Construction Supervisor will be key contacts for the client and must maintain a professional and effective relationship with them.
​
These positions involve extensive travel and require flexibility to be based in different locations for periods of approximately 2-3 months at a time. You will get to see, work, and ride your bike in some of the best locations across Australia – and potentially the world!
​
Our perfect candidate will have the following:

Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision);
-
Nationally accredited qualifications in Excavator and Skid Steer, supported by relevant experience;
-
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in supervising civil construction sites. Experience in directing and supervising employees to deliver complex projects with a large number of stakeholders in challenging environments;
-
Experience in constructing pump tracks;
-
Previous experience in a relevant trade is preferred but not essential;
-
A passion for mountain biking, BMX, and bikes.

MACHINE OPERATOR

The Position:
In this position you’ll operate machinery as part of a team to build high-quality mountain bike pump tracks and trails. You will also undertake labouring duties.
​
Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of experience as an excavator operator on high-quality pump tracks or trails;
-
Top notch excavator skills; you’re safe, you’re quick, you can follow plans, and you are great in a team;
-
Experienced mountain bike trail and/or pump track user and you know how important levels, shapes, and lines are when it comes to building and riding trails and pump tracks, creating flow trail, or bombing a jump line;
-
Experience operating a skid steer and other civil construction machinery would be an advantage;
-
A trade background is preferred but is not mandatory;
-
You get extra bonus points if you have experience with asphalt works;
-
Must be physically fit, strong, and happy to travel and work outdoors.
